Create beautiful curtains with this easy-to-use tapeâ just center it, stitch it and insert the rod
Plan your curtain panel size allowing for 2-1/2 times the desired finished curtain width. Allow 8 inches for the top hem.
Sew curtain, finishing the bottom and side hems.
Fold down a 4 inch double hem on the top of the curtain and press (do not sew yet).
Cut a length of Rod Loop Tape the measurement of the finished curtain width plus 7.5 inches.
With the first tab starting 1 inch from the side edge, pin Rod Loop Tape to back of curtain along the upper edge. The last tab should be within 2.5 inches of the other end if not fold up excess tape between previous tabs. Trim each side end of the tape to 1 inch and fold under.
Stitch Rod Loop Tape to the back of the curtain along the upper and lower edges of the tape.
